After leaving her career in Information Technology and Training in the City, our Founder, Stephanie, started her own pet business in 2005. She launched the UK’s first organic pet treat bakery, an award-winning Pet Boutique and Café, a pet walking and sitting agency, two Pet Grooming Salons – including the prestigious and famous Pet Spa in Harrods – and a pet grooming Training Academy.
With celebrity pet owners and cutting edge services Stephanie won Essex Business of The Year (2009), was Southend Business Woman of The Year Finalist (2010) and her London salon was voted No.1 Pet Spa in the UK by Time Out Magazine (2013). But it wasn’t all plain sailing. There were good times and bad times, bills piling up, cashflow running dry! She worked hard, won a few rounds, lost a few and made some rookie mistakes…but that means she knows how YOU can sidestep the obstacles to success.
Stephanie has a Post Graduate Diploma in e-business management (PGDip), is an Accredited Small Business Consultant (AASBC), and an Accredited Career Counsellor (CCA). She is an experienced online marketer and a website designer. Stephanie is the author of a recipe book for pets: Pupcakes, and also co-wrote the Debrett’s Guide to Petiquette. She also broke the Guinness Book of World Records for baking the World’s largest dog biscuit! She lives by the sea on England’s east coast with her rescue mutt Ella and her ancient cat Fluffy.
Stephanie has regularly appeared on UK television including: ITV This Morning, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, ITV’s Daybreak, BBC2’s The Fixer, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and was resident Pet Chef on Sky 1’s Pet Nation series. She has regularly been featured in the press including articles in The Sunday Times Style Magazine, The Lady, Prima, You Magazine, Tatler, Hello! and The Financial Times.
